I'm a 36 yr old guy that woke up at 23 with nothing, due to years of drug abuse.
Busted my ass to start and run three successful companies, and now I collect checks.
I've been with the same woman in some way shape or form for almost 20 years, and she's still the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I'm one of the luckiest guys I know.
How many guys have their actual fantasy woman fall in love with them?
I play guitar, sporadically......months can go by and I won't touch one, and then I have to play every day for a year. I'm a crack shot with an XDm 3.8 9mm, and I carry one everywhere I go. In my opinion, no one has the right to hurt me or my family just because they want to, or are having a bad day. I have very definite views on citizens' rights, specifically the 2nd Amendment and the role our government SHOULD play in our lives, so if you don't wanna hear the rant, don't fucking ask.
Guitars, guns, shovelheads ironheads and Porsche 911 Turbos
Pantera, Slayer, Rage Against The Machine, James Taylor, GunsnRoses, Fleetwood Mac, Sade, Robert Johnson, Son Seals, Son House, Buddy Guy, Carlos Santana....see a pattern?
Favorite TV Shows:
TV has sucked ass since the invention of ' reality tv '. Just because the title calls you an american idol doesn't make it true. I don't care which "star" is dancing with who. I don't care what Paris Hilton is doing, ever. I feel bad for the guys that honestly wrote funny stuff. The situational comedy needs to make a comeback. /rant
Anything that moves me, or makes me think.
The rating system that reviewers give to movies is inherently biased. I can count on one hand the number of movies that haven't done their job in the last 5 years. All I ever expect them to do is entertain me for a couple of hours.
If you're going to see a movie starring The Rock, do you honestly think it's gonna get nominated for an Oscar? No, there are going to be bitchin cars, hot women, and explosions.
The Butterfly Effect. Loved the concept.
The Notebook. Yup.
Sandra Bullock. Anything with Sandra Bullock is probably gonna be funny.
Roger Zelazny's Amber series. If you're a fan of sci-fi and you haven't read this, you owe it to yourself to pick this up. Get the Omnibus edition, it's about 1200 pgs, and I try to read it at least once a year. It's phenomenal.
Anything else by same. Dude was GOOD.
Simon R. Green.
I read voraciously, but these are authors that I wait for books from.
Sun Tzu's The Art Of War. If you own a business, you need to read and interpret this book. Nothing but help.
The people that are making this world a worse place are not taking a day off.
Why should I?
Light up the darkness.
